I'm a house wife and a mother of two girls. We are a busy professional Arabic family that lives in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in a place called AL-AIN. Al Ain is an oasis city and the second largest in the emirate of Abu Dhabi the capital, It is located at about 160 km east of Abu Dhabi and at the same distance southeast of Dubai; One and a half hour drive from both Abu Dhabi the capital and Dubai. We have had Nannies for many years and our current one is returning to her native South Africa to take up her own family after spending nearly one year with us. Our Nanny will be an integral part of the family and be the person responsible for all day-to day needs of the children. We need a supremely warm, loving, reliable, trustworthy and loyal person that acts as an extension of ourselves in our absence, in terms of values, discipline and above all warmth towards our children. You need to be able to live with us as a fully integrated family member that is treated as an equal at all times, not forgetting though that you have also been hired in your professional capacity as a Nanny in a team where everyone is empowered and fulfils their role to the best of their ability. You will be required to travel with the family during weekends within the emirates or over seas.

I am looking for a full time live-in, female governess Nanny. Our house contains 8 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, sitting room, dining room, a kitchen, office and a playroom nursery for all the activities. There are 8 household working and two drivers, plus our own chiefs.
Family has 2 children Female 4 years; Female 20 Months. Nanny will take care of both, and start work as soon as possible.
The children like to do lot of things during the morning and evening hours.
Our requirements:
Work description: There are no rules but outline of daily duties which will be handled to you in your first day work, and there are no religious requirements. My religion is very important to me, but it is also very private. I do not force my beliefs and/or values upon anyone who has not asked me to share with them and in the end we all believe in God.
Responsibilities will be as follow:

1. The position requires that you take care of the cognitive, psychomotor and affective development. Particular emphasis should be on developing the child's English. Attention should be given to developing the child's socialization skills including good habits, manners and self-discipline. The mother's requests in this regard must be respected at all times.
2.A nanny's responsibilities are termed 'Nursery Duties' (looking after the children and their belongings only). This will not include washing, ironing and cooking for them but will be cleaning their nurseries and/or bedrooms. You will not do general household duties other than those to do with the children. You will take full sole charge of the child.

Tidying toys away at the end of the day
Dirty clothes in the linen basket
Deliver and collect Children from nursery if so, School and after school run
Playing and general upbringing during the day
Bath and prepare for bed
Shopping (minimal top-up only)
Encouraging writing, drawing, painting and other crafts
Toy and play management
Arranging social activities, e.g. lunch or tea invitations, escorting to parties, buying of presents
Playgroups for the children
Occasional periods of unsupervised responsibility for all needs of children, Occasional deliveries, collections, inspections of the household
Visits to the park
Library-Visits and book rotation
Discipline
Education: college or preferably university degree
Certificates: as many as possible
Childcare: as many as possible
Applicant must be a SWIMER
We are offering:
Accommodation: Live – in nanny, you will have your own private bedroom (bathroom) and sometime you need to share if we are not at home, e.g. on weekend, family home and abroad. You are provided with full board and lodging. Other living costs are for your own account e.g. telephone calls.
Holiday: You are required to work six days a week and one day off. General working hours are breakfast time until bath time/ bed time, plus sleeping together with the child during the night. "Full Time"
Salary per week: Salary will be$400- $500 a week US dollar, almost £200 - £300 -net per week. The UAE has no tax and at the same time it is a live in position. That means $ 2000 a month is the range of Nanny, nurses and teachers salary.
